Options

Option Description
Perform an Intelligent Sector Copy When enabled, only sectors that are in use are copied to the destination disk. This reduces the time to create the clone as unused sectors will not be copied.
Verify File System Macrium Reflect will automatically verify the integrity of FAT32 and NTFS file systems being cloned. This means checking that all files and folders have their data entries correctly mapped to the file allocation table (FAT) or $MFT Bitmap (NTFS).  When enabled, this may increase the time taken to complete the clone.
Rapid Delta Clone When enabled, the source file system and file system on the target disk are compared, only changes between the two file systems are cloned to the destination. Read more about Rapid Delta Clone here.
Enable SSD TRIM This option provides automated SSD optimization resulting in enhanced SSD performance and longevity. Writing to an unused block is much quicker than an in-use block as it avoids both the slow erase operation and the read-modify-write cycle. This results in an increase in both the lifespan and the performance of the device.
Perform a Forensic Sector Copy When selected, all data blocks will be cloned to the destination. This option is only necessary if you want to copy unused file system space and will significantly increase the time to complete the clone.

Shutdown

This page can be used to control any power-saving options that are applied automatically once the clone has been completed.
