Overview
The 'Active Backups' page is used to create, view, and manage any regularly scheduled activity including scheduled backups and remote synchronization. For more information about configuring a 'Remote Sync' see this article:
Scheduling Backups
Scheduled backups are made up of the following components, if you have not created the following, use the links below to read more:
Definition - This controls which computers will be backed up, the backup method that will be performed (disk image or file and folder backup), and what will be backed up from the selected computers.
Schedule - This controls the type of backup that will be performed (full, differential, or incremental), when the backups will be performed, and how many backups should be retained per computer at any one time.
Repository - This is a predefined storage area that is used as the destination for the backups.
Once these components have been created, they can be "paired up" on the 'Active Backups' tab to schedule a backup. The first time that the 'Active Backups' page is accessed, the activity table will be empty:
To schedule a backup, select 'Schedule Backup' at the top of the page.

In the window that opens, select 'Schedule Backup', then select the repository that will be the destination for these scheduled backups:

On the second page of the wizard, select the 'Definition', what will be backed up, and the 'Schedule', when the backups will be performed, from the existing schedules and definitions on the respective pages of SiteBackup.
Selecting 'Finish' to complete the wizard and schedule the backup, the table on the 'Active Backups' page will now be populated with the newly scheduled backup:
