Overview
The MultiSite page of the SiteManager Platform settings controls integration with Macrium MultiSite for remote management of a SiteManager Platform installation. If MultiSite is enabled and the HTTPS port configured in the 'Security' section is exposed to the internet, SiteManager Platform can be managed by Macrium MultiSite.
Security Prerequisites
To ensure that no security concerns arise from enabling the MultiSite integration, the following security options must be configured in the SiteManager Platform settings before enabling 'Connection':

Options
The options in the 'MultiSite' section are as follows:

| Enable | Enables the interface for Macrium MultiSite on the same port used for HTTPS access. This does not affect HTTPS access. |
| API Key | This key is required to authorize MultiSite to access Site Manager. |
| Copy | Copies the API key to the clipboard to make transferring it easier. |
| Generate New Key | Generates a new API key, replacing the old key. Note that if this Site Manager is managed by Macrium MultiSite, the key must be updated in MultiSite for continued access. |
The 'MultiSite Connection Status' section will only appear if MultiSite is enabled. This section will show the current status of the SiteManager Platform's connection to MultiSite. The 'Refresh' button retries the MultiSite connection if there are connectivity issues.

The MultiSite connection is based on outgoing traffic from the SiteManager Platform:

The IP addresses provided may be changed or added to in future releases. We recommend adding any necessary firewall rules by DNS name where possible.
