Overview
For the majority of use cases, a USB rescue media will be the easiest way to boot a computer into the rescue environment in the event of a disaster. Most of the time, the default settings in the Macrium Rescue Media Builder will be most appropriate. For more information on changing the default options and specifying advanced options, see this article.
Launching the Macrium Rescue Media Builder
Rescue media can be created using the 'Rescue' button on the quick actions menu at the top of Macrium Reflect or by selecting the 'Create Rescue Media...' option in the 'Other Tasks' menu on the top bezel:

Both of these options will open the 'Macrium Rescue Media Builder'.
Creating a Rescue Media USB Flash Drive
For the majority of use cases, the default options that are selected in the Macrium Rescue Media Builder will be the best options. For advanced use cases, the 'Advanced' button can be used to change the options that are being used to create the rescue media.
Under 'Select Device', ensure that 'Removable USB Flash Drive' is selected. Under 'Removable USB Flash Drive', you will see additional information about the USB device; this can be helpful to idetify a specific USB device in the event that multiple are connected to the system. Select 'Build' to create the USB rescue media:
Once the Windows Boot Menu Rescue Media Option has been created, the following message will be displayed:
Once the rescue media has been created, we recommend testing it to ensure that it boots correctly.
